How we buy in New South Wales

Six steps, with the NSW rules in view.

  1. The brief

Your goals, budget, borrowing position and timeline. Every later decision answers to it.

  2. The suburb

We start with every suburb in Australia and narrow it with data. See how we choose a suburb.

  3. The property

We look on and off the market.

  4. The checks

Building and pest, zoning and flood. Your solicitor or conveyancer reads the contract before you exchange.

  5. The price

Comparable sales set our walk-away price, never the advertised price.

  6. The contract

After you exchange contracts you have 5 business days to cool off, ending at 5pm on the fifth business day. If you pull out, you pay the seller 0.25% of the price. There is no cooling-off at auction.
